Work Committed
Our mission is to uplift Ememei communities by providing essential resources, promoting access to education and healthcare, and protecting their unique cultural identity. Join us in continuing this important work because every act of kindness brings us one step closer to a stronger, more united Ememei future.
Kaikho’s Wheelchair Project:
One of our proudest moments in recent years was helping Kaikho, a young member of the Ememei community, by providing him with a wheelchair, giving him the freedom to move independently and gain the ability of a newfound confidence for the first time. This is just one example of how your support can transform lives. Join us in continuing this important work because every act of kindness brings us one step closer to a stronger, more united Ememei future.
Mao Private Schools Support Project:
The next year, we had the privilege of supporting private schools in Mao through a meaningful donation aimed at improving educational resources and opportunities. By investing in education, our goal was to empower young learners and help create a more supportive and effective learning environment. We are proud to have made a positive impact in the Mao community and remain committed to supporting education in the region. MIA’s commitment to educational development is rooted in the belief that every child deserves access to the tools and environment needed to succeed. We are honoured to have made a positive impact in the community and remain dedicated to supporting education for years to come.
Alternative Road Project Initiative:
Focusing on infrastructure, supporting the construction of roads in rural areas in collaboration with members of the EEI ( Ememei Empowerment Initiatives). This project aims to improve accessibility, promote economic activity, and connect remote communities to vital services. MIA remains dedicated to fostering long-term, sustainable growth in the region through education, infrastructure, and community partnerships.
MSU Support Project:
We were not able to contribute much for this project but we tried our best and sent some money to show our support.

Grandma Athia’s Project:
In October 2025, a group of members from our MIA came together with a simple yet powerful intention — to make a meaningful difference in someone’s everyday life.
They learned about a grandmother who was struggling to make ends meet and did not have proper footwear for herself or her grandchild. What many of us consider basic and ordinary was, for her, an unmet necessity. Quietly and collectively, the members pooled their contributions to purchase comfortable, durable footwear for both the grandmother and her little one.
When the shoes were presented to her, the moment was deeply emotional. She received them with a grateful heart. With tears in her eyes, she expressed her heartfelt thanks and raised her hands in prayer, blessing every soul who had contributed — wishing them health, happiness, and abundance in return for their generosity.
This act was more than just a donation; it was a reminder that compassion multiplies when shared. It showed that when people unite with empathy and purpose, even a small gesture can restore dignity, bring comfort, and create a lasting impact.
Kindness walks far — especially when many walk together.
