Executive Introduction
Laju Sani is the current President of the Mao International Association (MIA), bringing dynamic leadership and a wealth of diverse experience to the organization. Based in Chicago, USA with his family, Laju began his professional journey as a musician, where he honed his creativity and passion for cultural expression. He later transitioned into the construction industry.
Pfokreni Stephen is a dedicated educator by profession and currently serves as the Secretary. He brings a wealth of experience and insight to his leadership role within the organization. His role in MIA reflects his passion for nurturing positive change, fostering collaboration, and upholding integrity in both educational and organizational settings. He lives in Japan with his family.
Lokho Chalai is a passionate educator and serve as MIA’s Information and Publicity Secretary. He is based in Vientiane, Laos with his family, he serves as a teacher, where he inspires young minds through education grounded in values and critical thinking. With a deep understanding of local and regional educational challenges, Lokho brings valuable insight to the association’s initiatives, helping bridge the gap between education and community development across cultures.
Lily Lock is based in London, UK with her family. She plays a crucial role in guiding MIA’s growth and operational efficiency. She works for a German Company in finance by profession. As a Vice President, she contributes to ensuring that MIA’s initiatives are not only visionary but also impactful on a global scale.
Charani Hekha is a respected Assistant General Secretary offering strategic guidance and valuable insights to support the organization’s mission and growth. Based in Dubai with her family, Charani brings a global perspective and a wealth of experience to her role. Professionally she is a senior E-commerce Manager managing multiple brands across the Gulf countries and North Africa. On top of it all, she is a mum to 3-year-old son and enjoys quality time with family, movie nights and meeting new people.
Athili Sapriina is based in Melbourne, Australia with his family. As an advisor in MIA he is actively involved in community work, where he focuses on grassroots initiatives that promote social well-being, inclusion, and empowerment. He contributes his experience and insight to the organization’s ongoing development.
Kaisa Besi is a valued member who has shown deep commitment to MIA. She is based in Auckland, New Zealand with her growing family. Kaisa balances her role as an advisor to MIA and a dedicated mother with her work in the community, where she actively supports initiatives that uplift families and promote social well-being.
Maneni Kayina is a dedicated healthcare professional, and a registered nurse based in Singapore, known for her commitment to patient care and community health. Maneni also serves as the newest advisor to MIA, where she contributes her expertise in health policy, sttrategic planning and community engagement.
